When looking at my list of equipment, it's important to remember that if I didn't video so much on these trips, I would bring VERY little. The less the better. So most everything in the "for video" section I'm saying I would NOT bring for photography.

My goal (with my photo equipment) is to fit everything I need in my shootsac. That's the best way to have a great photo holiday, in my opinion.

For photography I'll bring:

5D Mark II
24L, 24 tilt, 50L, 135L
Shootsac (this is what I use when traveling)
60gb's of CF cards
two batteries
13" macbook pro
two western digital passport external drives (power from USB)

For video I'll bring:

Canon G1O + underwater housing
Another 5D Mark II
Ikelite underwater housing for the 5D Mark II
45 tilt
15mm fisheye
16-35L
70-200 f/2.8L IS
Merlin Steadicam
Manfrotto Magic Arm
Tripod for video panning
An additional 1tb drive
