day 1 and 2: fly from LAX and cross the intl date line.
day 3: arrive bangkok early (midnight to 2am, most likely), head to the border, cross by foot, and arrive in siem reap late morning. sunset at angkor wat.
day 4: sunrise at angkor -- eplore at leisure. lunch at leisure. visit thom bayon ruins that afternoon until sunset.
day 5: head out through the countryside to the bante srey ruins. explore and photograph thom bayon through sunset.
day 6: tonle sap day trip. visit an orphanage that night.
day 8: travel day to kanchanaburi. leave cambodia in the morning. arrive in the afternoon.
day 9: ride elephants and bathe them in the river in the morning. tiger temple in the afternoon. evening at leisure.
day 10: erawan falls. evening at leisure.
day 11: early morning head back to bangkok and catch an hour flight to phuket. hangout at leisure at the beach after checking in at our hotel.
day 12: charter a boat and explore the phi phi islands.
day 13: snake show in the morning. remainder of the day spent on freedom beach.
day 14: fly to bangkok in the morning to catch your flight home (or extend your stay in phuket). cross the intl dateline and arrive home the same day.
